Alter-ego's, Pseudonym's have always fascinated me. I've wondered why people take on different names to promote certain pieces of work or ideas. I feel I have found a reason. Don't all of us at some points in our lives take on Pseudonym's? From a doctor being a doctor, surely they are not called doctor in their private home lives. I don't imagine his or her children running down the stairs exclaiming "Doctor, Doctor!" as they arrive home from work. Same would go for teacher, lawyer, garbage man or any blue collar worker. Everyone of us put on certain persona's in our lives and that in itself is quite fascinating! See, even you who don't think you could act, is in real life, one of the greatest actors around. We all "act" in certain situations and improv this wonderful mirage of emotions called life.
Since high school I have liked the hobby of writing, which would lead to scripts, would then lead to producing the script, to acting, to writing some more, to acting some more, to directing some more and thus goes the cycle of my life. Always finding and catching more ideas that flow through, seeing some of them fly away and can never get back, holding on to others as I write them down in a diary or notebook. And some which would lead me to find J. Michaels. A writing outlet that helps me just put some crazy ideas down and out into the world. The first short story that is now on Amazon (click on the photo) is a crazy-eyed tale of heart-ache (literally).
Enjoy the story, share with your network and looking forward to more stories from J. Michaels. Who knows? Maybe it's just un-clinically schizophrenia, I did suffer a head injury/concussion when I was 8 years old :)
